Pork Scratchings with your pint?

Not quite! I headed out to a bar with some work colleagues in Madrid and came came across this meat eaters delight. The bar staff were literally just slicing thin strips of this stuff up and serving it with your beverage. A bit scary looking but sure taste's good!

Steak Dinner in Madrid

I was able to spend a couple of days in Madrid for work and chose the steak for dinner at a small traditional restaurant in the centre. The steak was fantastic, I asked for rare but next time I think I'll go for very rare as my dish was sizzling when it came out. I started to pile the pieces of meat on top of each other as I didn't want them to cook. I ate this with fries, had serrano ham , Manchego cheese and asparagus for starters. 10 out of 10 for the steak!
